Job Description

The analyst will be responsible for assisting in the analysis of crude oil and related products in Asia.

Their primary task will be to help gather information on Supply & Demand of Crude Oil throughout the region, assist in cargo movements/ship track for crude oil.

The analyst will also own data gathering and entry for the Asia-Pacific Supply & Demand model and be responsible for communicating the outputs effectively and timely to the Commercial Team.

Lastly, on an ad hoc basis, the analyst should also be expected to utilize their coding skillset to scrape/collate/chart out new data sources for traders to analyse.

Job Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with experience in working with and manipulating large datasets
• Proficient in Excel (Lookups/Index-Matching/Lookup Tables/VBA) and basic programming knowledge in Python (pandas, matplotlib, numpy etc.)
• Efficient time management skills and able to work under tight deadlines
• Self-starter and able to work independently without close supervision
