Job description

Our client is seeking a Trade Operations Specialist to support international trade activities, documentation, and system operations. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with trade regulations, managing third‑party vendors, and improving process efficiency across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, documentation vendors, and insurers.
  • Oversee trade documentation accuracy and timely submission.
  • Liaise between internal teams (logistics, finance, legal) and vendors.
  • Manage and enhance trade systems; ensure data integrity and governance.
  • Analyze trade data to identify process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for operational consistency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in International Business, Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in trade operations, import/export, or compliance (fresh grads welcome).
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, HS codes, trade finance instruments (LCs, B/Ls), and customs regulations.
  • Understanding of trade system digitalization and automation preferred.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
