Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Trade Finance operations or a related area.
• Familiarity with UCP600, ISBP745, URR725, URDG758, ISP98.
• Good understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions controls relating to Trade Finance transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process the full spectrum of documentary trade transactions including Letter of Credit issuances/amendments.
• Export documents checking and coordinate with customers on discrepancies.
• Construct SWIFT messages, specifically Swift Category 7 and Category 2.

Job description

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Trade Finance Officer to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end processing of Trade Finance transactions, ensuring they are handled accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and international banking standards.

Key Responsibiities

• Process the full spectrum of documentary trade transactions including Letter of Credit issuances/amendments,
• Export documents checking and coordinate with customers on discrepancies, Letter of Credit Negotiations and
• Discounting, Acceptances and payments, Letter of Credit Reimbursements and Import/Export collections
• Stand-by Letter of Credit/Guarantees issuances and any related claims/payments
• Processing of Trust receipts and invoice financing loans, ensuring full compliance with internal policies
• Construct SWIFT messages, specifically Swift Category 7 and Category 2

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Trade Finance operations or a related area
• Familiarity with UCP600, ISBP745, URR725, URDG758, ISP98
• Good understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions controls relating to Trade Finance transactions
• Mature and meticulous individual with good communication skills
• Able to work independently under minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
