Job summary

Charterhouse Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Deputy Manager, Trade Finance to lead a small team handling import/export LC documents, in line with UCP600 and related ICC opinions.

You will ensure accurate processing, compliance with OFAC, AML and KYC, and participate in process improvements and trade-related projects, delivering high-quality service to customers and coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Graduate, preferably in Banking & Finance.
• Knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URC, ISP, URDG.
• 5–7 years of structured trade experience across imports and exports.
• Self-starter who can work effectively in a team.
• Strong risk awareness, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and decisive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team and oversee import/export LC documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of trade transactions with compliance to policies and regulations.
• Support process improvements, system enhancements and trade-related projects.
• Deliver high-quality service to customers and maintain clear stakeholder communications.

Job description

We are looking for a deputy manager trade finance to manage a small team of people.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experienced across Import and Export LC documents in accordance with UCP600, ISBP, URR725, ICC opinions, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of trade transactions while complying with internal policies, OFAC, AML, and KYC guidelines.
• Support process improvements, system enhancements, and participate in trade-related projects.
• Deliver high-quality service to customers and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work independently and collaboratively, ensuring proper workflow handovers and meeting team KPIs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate, preferably in Banking & Finance
• Knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URC, ISP, URDG
• At least 5-7 years of structured trade experience, covering all imports and exports trade products
• Self-starter who can work effectively in a team setting
• Ability to manage daily operations with strong risk awareness, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills, decisive in communications
