Job summary

A staffing and search agency in Singapore is seeking a trade finance specialist to liaise with the Operations Team, Traders, and banks. The role involves ensuring compliance with trade documentation and monitoring ongoing trades. Ideal candidates should have good knowledge of trade finance products and excellent communication skills. Experience in banking is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with banks is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Operations Team, Traders and banks to handle guarantees, standby letters of credit and letters of credit for import and export
• Ensure trade documentation comply with sales/purchase contracts
• Monitor ongoing trades to take appropriate actions with relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with banks for RMA, confirmation and discounting quotes

Requirements

• General knowledge on financial terms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Basic knowledge of Base Metals
