Role Overview
The successful candidate will build Liquidnet’s brand and grow its presence in APAC, focusing on expanding our offering to Singapore‑based members. The role covers day‑to‑day member coverage, deep relationship building, and tailoring Liquidnet products to members’ needs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities related to market trends, products, and clients; implement agreed strategies.
- Effectively manage existing business to protect and enhance market share, monitoring performance.
- Focus on specific markets, maintaining contact with buyers and sellers to facilitate price discovery and create liquidity.
- Oversee client relationship management, maintaining relationships with strategically important and major clients.
- Proactively manage client accounts and desk operations (e.g., account allocation, resolving customer issues).
- Interact with members to maximize trading opportunities during trading hours; provide proactive management of trading opportunities.
- Interpret and leverage analytics insights and trade data to enhance members’ overall trading and investment performance.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to manage members and customers’ relationships and expectations.
- Give full and detailed demonstrations of Liquidnet’s product suite.
- Develop internal and external reporting (weekly, monthly, ad hoc, bespoke) to reinforce Liquidnet’s value, maximize opportunity, and gain deep understanding of the member.
- Understand relevant regulations and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory landscape and internal/external governance, in partnership with Infrastructure teams.
- Support a risk‑ and compliance‑aware culture and promote behaviors aligned with group policies.
- Drive process improvements and technology enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Experience & Competences
Essential
- Experience in the Equity space in APAC.
- Exceptional client focus and delivery skills.
- Ability to interface with multiple departments across Asia, Europe, and the US.
- Strong understanding of electronic trading in APAC, algorithmic products, and TCA.
- Demonstrated industry credibility and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and ethical behavior.
- Commercially aware with insight into market and economic trends.
- Effective team player, proactive problem‑solver, and continual improvement mindset.
