Qualifications

  • Experience in conceptualizing and designing carbide press tools.
  • Familiarity with interpreting part drawings and preparing tooling layouts.
  • Ability to coordinate with toolmakers during assembly and testing.

  • Review part drawings and prepare tooling layouts independently.
  • Ensure smooth transition from design to mass production.
  • Identify and resolve technical design issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with toolmakers for design accuracy and functionality.
  • Guide draughtswomen in completing tooling designs.
  • Provide guidance to draughtswomen in tooling designs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and design carbide press tools for high-precision metal stamped, deep-drawn, and formed components.
  • Review and interpret part drawings, and prepare detailed tooling layouts according to product requirements independently.
  • Carry out complete tool design in accordance with specifications and project requirements.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from product design and development to mass production.
  • Identify and resolve technical design issues promptly, and recommend improvements for both new and existing tooling.
  • Coordinate with toolmakers during tool assembly, fitting, and testing stages to ensure design accuracy and functionality.
  • Provide guidance to draughtswomen in completing or modifying simple tooling designs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior or management.
