Responsibilities

As a Centre Director - Retail with Hines, you will be a critical part of the asset management and leasing team focusing on spearheading our retail platform. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and be the point person for managing our retail asset(s) in Singapore
  • Perform strategic leasing and drive leasing outcomes; have deep and strong leasing relationships
  • Direct and provide oversight to Centre Management Office (CMO) team
  • Responsible for delivery, approval and setting of budgets, including but not limited to P&L, capex, marketing
  • Develop internal expertise on retail and setting up of processes of SOP
  • Contribute to retail best practices globally
  • Support all efforts on retail tenancy mixes across other asset classes and jurisdictions
  • Other required scopes and tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 8+ years of experience in the retail sector with responsibility for leasing and operations
  • An independent self-starter with strong work ethics
  • Passion for retail (‘loves to walk the ground’)
  • Love for learning and analytical to develop new strategies, concepts
  • Willingness to go outside of scope and anything that gets the job done
  • Lean team, strong team play
