Job summary

WAAN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced tiler to join our on-site team. You will cut, install, and finish ceramic, granite and marble tiles according to layouts and blueprints.

Responsibilities include aligning tiles with levels and straightedges, preparing surfaces with waterproofing materials, and creating decorative wall and floor designs. Meticulous workmanship and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Tile cutting and shaping to fit layouts.
• Aligning tiles using straightedges and levels to ensure straight patterns.
• Preparing surfaces with waterproofing materials for tiling.
• Installing and polishing granite and marble surfaces.
• Following blueprints and marking surfaces for tiling.

Responsibilities

• Create decorative wall and floor designs.
• Tapping tiles into place and ensuring no breakage or damage.

Job description

• Cutting tiles and shaping them properly
• Forming tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools
• Aligning tiles and straightening them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise
• Cutting, installing and polishing and surface granite and marble
• Preparing various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material
• Creating decorative wall and floor designs
• Tapping tiles into place and making sure not to break or damage tiles
• Following blueprints precisely and marking and measuring surfaces that need to be tiled
