A leading talent agency in Singapore is seeking candidates for a TIG welding position to refurbish aircraft engine components. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in TIG welding, familiar with technical drawings, and capable of learning new methodologies. This role also supports safety training and continuous improvement programs, requiring a hands-on approach to manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding to refurbish aircraft engine components to meet quality standards.
  • Support the cell operations in benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing and cold working processes.
  • Potential to be trained on operating new Automation Machines.
  • Attend EH&S training programs and take personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
  • Support the continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities.
Job Requirements
  • GCE 'O' Level or NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical or relevant disciplines.
  • 3 years relevant experience in TIG welding.
  • Comfortable to learn new welding methodology.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical drawing and standard operation procedures (SOP).
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands‑on approach.
  • Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
Advantageous Qualifications
  • Familiar with the relevant airworthiness and regulatory agencies requirements.
  • Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience.
  • Attended external trainings with welding certification.
