Job summary

Aleph (Formerly Red Alpha Cyber) is seeking a dedicated Threat Hunter to proactively identify threats across client IT, digital and cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on hunting hypotheses, advanced threat detection, and forensic investigations to prevent breaches.

The candidate will manage SIEM rules, analyse attack patterns, and develop detection methods, working within a cyber security operations context. Singapore-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or OffSec OSTH or eCTHP or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat hunting, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in cybersecurity threat landscape environments.

Job description

This specialist proactively searches for cyber threats that may have bypassed existing security defences. They analyse patterns in network activity and system behaviours to identify potential security breaches before they cause damage. They are also involved in SIEM management and are responsible for creating and maintaining the rules in the SIEM platform. The role involves investigating suspicious activities and developing strategies to detect emerging threats.

Core Requirements

• GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or OffSec OSTH or eCTHP or other equivalent cybersecurity certification
• A minimum THREE (3) years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat hunting, or related cybersecurity disciplines; and
• Possess strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills and advanced problem-solving skills in cybersecurity threat landscape environmen
