Job summary

A leading semiconductor foundry company in Singapore is looking for an engineer to monitor production quality and improve processes. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least two years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry. Critical thinking and strong analytical skills are essential, and prior leadership experience is a plus. This role may involve shift work and offers an opportunity to develop internationally acclaimed analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a semiconductor industry foundry.
  • Experience with leadership or in competitions is advantageous.
  • Willing to commit to shift work.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and address in-line SPC/defect/Equipment abnormality.
  • Maintain Equipment capability for production demands.
  • Engage with engineers for tool availability and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in equipment troubleshooting and quality improvement.
  • Evaluate new equipment/materials for better efficiency.

Responsibilities
  1. Day to Day monitoring and ownership to timely address in-line SPC/defect/Equipment abnormality and lot handling
  2. Maintain Equipment capability for production and meet production demand
  3. Engage with Production line and Process Engineers to balance tool availability for production, troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance
  4. Engage in Equipment troubleshooting and production quality improvement.
  5. Evaluation of new equipment/materials and retrofits of Equipment for better efficiency / production quality
Qualifications
  1. Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in engineering in Electronic Engineering , Electrical Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering ,Physics, Automation, Aerospace Engineering
  2. Able to think critically with strong analytical skills
  3. Possess good communication skills and time management skills
  4. Prior leadership or competition experience in school activities will be an advantage
  5. Must be willing to commit shift work
  6. At least 2 years with relevant working experience in semiconductor industry foundry
