Job summary

Southern Palladium Limited in Singapore is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support clients in daily living activities, ensure safety, monitor during therapy, and assist with ADL tasks such as toileting and catheter care.

You will work as part of a therapy/care team, maintain equipment and department cleanliness, attend staff meetings, and perform duties as directed. A secondary education and a WSQ Healthcare Support certificate are preferred; experience with dementia is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player with good interpersonal communications skills.
• Experience in caring for clients with dementia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of clients at all times.
• Provide person-centric care in daily operations.
• Monitor clients during treatment to ensure safety.
• Assist clients in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and accompany to toilet as needed.
• Assist with other nursing care or first aid (e.g., wound dressing).
• Prepare clients and therapy equipment before each therapy session.
• Assist and/or conduct routine exercises/group therapy as directed by therapists.
• Donning and doffing of prosthetics/orthotics as needed.
• Provide feedback to therapists regarding clients' behaviour.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of therapy equipment.
• Keep department locked at end of day.
• Work with volunteers assisting in activities/sessions.
• Attend staff meetings, case conferences, in-service and caregiver programmes.
• Any other duties as directed.
