• Assist in implementing therapy tasks under the supervision of a ST.
• Provide feedback to primary ST on patient’s progression with assigned therapy tasks.
• Ensure safety of patient and implement appropriate safety precautions.

The therapy assistant (TA) is expected to support the speech therapists (ST) on assigned tasks deemed as appropriate. The tasks assigned are within limits of what they have been trained and deemed competent to perform as defined by the department/institution.
