Job Description

You will be assisting the occupational therapists in carrying out therapeutic intervention for patients referred to Occupational Therapy Department (OTD). You will conduct therapeutic activities or assist in functional re‑training of patients as directed by occupational therapists. Creative activities, sports, or life skills groups are some of the groups that you will be asked to conduct. You may also be asked to assist in the training of patients in the vocational training programmes or conduct job site visits. Providing feedback after the session is a must. You might be asked to coach or guide Health Attendant and will also be required to perform administrative duties.

Competency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Educational and Professional Requirements
  • NITEC/Higher NITEC qualifications in Paramedic & Emergency Care, Community Care& Social Services or Nursing, with work experience of more than 3 years in related fields, or
  • Diploma qualifications in Health Sciences, Sports, Physical Health or other related disciplines
