Job summary

A healthcare facility in Singapore is looking for a Therapy Support Assistant to help therapists with personalized treatment and facilitate community outings. The ideal candidate has a WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Job description

Assist therapists to provide personalized treatment according to client’s care plan under supervision e.g. walking patients, giving therapeutic exercises, caregiver’s training, assisting in activities of daily living, swallowing /communication intervention etc.

Assist in monitoring client performance, progress and feedback to therapist in-charge

Assist in group exercises and or specialized individual therapy with therapists supervision

Maintain proper documentation and treatment records

Ensure patient’s safety and observe safety protocol at all times

Assist in community outing programme

Maintain daily statistics of treatment attendance

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the centre

Responsible for housekeeping of the equipments, perform regular inventory checks and equipment maintenance in community outing

Requirement:

WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support)

Preferably with least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

A team player with good interpersonal skills

Able to speak in local dialects would be added advantage (in order to handle queries and concerns from local dialects speaking clients and also, to provide personalized treatment to our local dialects speaking patients.)
