Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting activities or adjust activities programmed by the therapist.
  • Assist in carrying out habilitative and rehabilitative work-orientated programs based on assessment and instructions of the PT/OT.
  • Ensure the safety and security of residents during sessions.
  • Prepare regular reports to update the therapist and Nursing Manager on the functional status of residents.
  • Ensure safe usage of the equipment by residents and restrict the use of damaged equipment.
  • Provide feedback on facilities in the Home that need to be altered for use by residents or that affect the safety of the residents.
  • Prepare feedback, wherever necessary, to external agencies /therapists on individual resident functional progress in the Home.
Requirements
  • Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Relevant certification or qualification in therapy services, therapy support, community care and services, or any related fields.
  • 1 -2 years of related experience.
  • A team player and able to organize and execute programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining a positive and courteous attitude and providing exemplary resident care.
  • Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned.
