Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd. is seeking a technically skilled Gas Operations Technician for a 1-year contract in Singapore.

The role involves operating, monitoring and maintaining bulk and specialty gas delivery systems at client sites, with rotating 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include safety inspections, gas system monitoring, emergency response, and coordination with customers and internal teams to ensure high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or materials supply handling hazardous materials.
• Experience in semiconductor, chemical, or industrial gas industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of TGCM systems and gas distribution systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with industrial gas systems, equipment operation, and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain bulk and specialty gas delivery systems at customer sites, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
• Conduct daily operational rounds, record readings, perform safety inspections, monitor gas systems, and manage gas cylinder/pallet/trailer changes.
• Operate TGM systems following established procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in safety, operations, training and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements, PPE use, LOTO, confined space rules.
• Respond to gas leaks, spills and emergencies per established procedures and safe handling practices.
• Identify hazards and promote a strong safety culture through safe work practices.
• Serve on the Emergency Response Team when required.

Job description

Adecco is partnering with a world leader in industrial gases, technologies and services for industry.

Working Location:3 Serangoon North Ave 5, Singapore 554914
Working Schedule:12-hour rotating shift schedule 8:00am to 8:00pm and 8:00pm to 8:00am
2 days work, 2 days off (rotating day/night shift every 2 weeks)

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain bulk and specialty gas delivery systems at the customer site, including performing intermediate-level troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
• Conduct daily operational rounds, including recording system readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring gas systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring systems, and performing gas cylinder, pallet, and trailer change-outs.
• Operate TGM systems in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in company and customer programs related to safety, operations, training, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and quality requirements, including the proper use of PPE, forklift operation, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and other Life-Saving Rules.
• Respond appropriately to gas leaks, spills, and other emergency situations by following established emergency response procedures and safe material handling practices.
• Identify workplace hazards and unsafe conditions, and actively promote a strong safety culture through safe work practices.
• Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) when required.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and internal team members.
• Proactively identify customer needs, resolve operational issues, and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.
