Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive governance framework for the responsible and ethical use of generative AI (Gen-AI) technologies within DBS Bank's operations and service offerings

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, risk, compliance, and business units, to identify and address potential risks, biases, and ethical concerns associated with the deployment of Gen-AI

Establish policies, guidelines, and control measures to ensure the alignment of Gen-AI applications with DBS Bank's values, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to business units on the appropriate use of Gen-AI, including the development of use cases, model validation, and ongoing monitoring

Spearhead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance AI literacy and prompt engineering skills among relevant stakeholders within the bank

Represent DBS Bank in industry forums and regulatory discussions related to Gen-AI governance, contributing to the development of industry standards and best practices

Continuously monitor the evolving landscape of Gen-AI technologies, regulations, and industry trends, and adapt the bank's governance framework accordingly

Requirements

Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of AI and machine learning principles

Minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record in developing and implementing governance frameworks for emerging technologies, preferably in the banking or financial services industry

Demonstrated expertise in AI literacy, including the ability to understand and evaluate the capabilities, limitations, and potential risks of Gen-AI technologies
