Job summary

A leading investment management firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Test Manager to oversee the Aladdin implementation. You will develop test strategies, manage a team of testers, and ensure successful testing outcomes. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services, particularly in asset management, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive project success.

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of Financial Services experience, preferably in asset management.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Experience as a Test Manager for large scale, complex projects.

Job description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Test Strategy: Develop comprehensive test strategy and plan for the Aladdin implementation, including test scope, approach, and timelines.
  • Test Team Management: Lead and manage a team of testers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team is working effectively.
  • Test Case Development: Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to develop test cases and scripts for the Aladdin system.
  • Test Execution: Drive testing activities, including functional, integration, and regression testing, and report on test results.
  • Defect Management: Define and manage process to resolve defects and issues identified during testing, working with developers to resolve and retest.
  • Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and work with the development team to implement automated testing solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and other teams to ensure testing activities are aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Provide regular reporting on testing progress, including metrics and analysis to support project decision‑making.

  • Experience in working as a Test Manager for large scale and complex project implementation within the asset management or financial industry.

  • Analytical and attentive to detail and able to handle ambiguity.

DOMAIN SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES
  • Working knowledge in financial asset management, especially middle/back office.
  • Comfortable in dealing directly with business stakeholders, technology and business users as well as external vendors.
  • Proven practical working knowledge of test management and automation tools.
  • Proven track record in driving successful testing outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Degree level or higher.
  • 6‑10 years Financial Services experience (asset management desirable).
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
