Job summary

UNITED MICROELECTRONICS CORPORATION Singapore is seeking a Test Equipment Engineer to support Test operation and maintenance across all testing equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, calibrate and improve test assets, and contribute to yield enhancement with data-driven approaches.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, knowledge of wafer fab processes, Linux/Unix skills, and the ability to work rotating day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 1 year of related job experience.
• Knowledge of wafer fab facility process control and field instrument experience.
• Equipped with skill of Linux/Unix program.
• Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with IT/network function and configuration.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and a high level of numeracy.
• Able to commit work rotating day and night shifts.
• Strong team working skills, with an ability to motivate others and to lead or manage teams and projects.
• Able to work independently and able to handle stress effectively.
• Familiar with Tester/Prober system maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Test operation and maintenance; troubleshoot of all Testing equipment.
• Maintain test equipment; perform calibration, PM and improvements.
• Analyze online production test failures and dispose of low yield; follow-up actions.
• Maintain online test equipment and accessories; manage abnormalities.
• Support daily conversion with excess minimum per customer specs.
• Identify problems and opportunities for yield/quality improvements; develop productivity methods.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Support Test operation and maintenance/Troubleshoot of all Testing equipment
• Responsible for test equipment maintenance, calibration, PM and improvement.
• Online production test failure and testing low yield analysis dispose and follow-up.
• Online test equipment & accessories maintain and abnormality disposition.
• Support Daily Conversion with excess minimum of Conversion Daily following the Spec of different Customer requirement
• Identify problems as well as areas for yield and quality improvements and develop methods to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing cost
