HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is hiring a Test Engineering Technician to support server and hardware testing in a manufacturing setting. You will work with test systems, rack configurations, and basic troubleshooting to ensure quality deliverables.

The role offers training with a transition to a 4-day work week post-training, and shift allowances during designated schedules. Suitable candidates typically have 2–4 years in testing or manufacturing and basic Linux/DOS knowledge.

Formación

• Associate Degree/Diploma or above in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2-4 years of relevant testing/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Candidates without a degree may be considered with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in server, rack or hardware testing is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Understand test process instructions and train production testers on test procedures.
• Support operators and resolve queries during production testing.
• Create and maintain Golden Images for servers and ensure test database accuracy.
• Develop rack test templates based on BOM and Engineering Instructions.
• Coordinate with software teams to deploy rack configurations into test systems.
• Set up database entries for new hardware components like switches and power shelves.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production test issues.
• Raise technical tickets and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Escalate complex technical issues to engineers or supervisors.
• Maintain training documentation and records for audit requirements.
• Guide and provide technical training to junior technicians; support production readiness for timely shipment.

TEST ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN | $3,500 - $4,800 + Allowances

Location: Tampines

Basic Salary: $3,500 - $4,800/month

Server / Rack / Hardware Testing Environment

Looking to grow your technical career in server and hardware testing? Join an established technology manufacturing environment where you'll gain hands‑on exposure to server testing, rack configurations, troubleshooting, Linux/DOS and test systems.

Salary & Shift Allowances

Basic Salary: $3,500 - $4,800/month

Allowances when allocated to shifts:

• 12-Hour Day Shift: $12 per workday
• 12-Hour Night Shift: $24 per workday
• Meal & Transport Allowance: $16 per workday

Shift allowances apply only when employees are allocated to the respective shift schedule.

Working Hours

First 3 Months - Training

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

After Training

Weekly rotating 12-hour Day & Night Shifts

Day: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Night: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Every Sunday OFF

4-Day Work Week

Choose one shift team:

• Team A: Monday - Thursday
• Team B: Friday, Saturday, Monday & Tuesday
• Team C: Wednesday - Saturday

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Associate Degree/Diploma or above in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Around 2-4 years of relevant testing or manufacturing experience
• Candidates without a relevant degree may be considered with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in server, rack or hardware testing is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of Linux / DOS
• Understanding of basic electrical concepts
• Good computer hardware troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of network hardware troubleshooting
• Able to read and understand Python or other programming scripts
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to prioritise tasks effective in a fast‑paced production environment
