Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is partnering with a multinational corporation in the semicon sector to find a Test Engineer in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and hands-on experience with testing and debugging. Responsibilities include executing SSD tests, setting up test environments, and conducting failure analyses. This is an onsite role with a 12-month renewable contract.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments.

Adecco is partnering with a multinational corporation in the semicon sector to search for a Test Engineer!

The Opportunity

• Focus: SSD Testing, Debug & Analysis, Firmware Validation, Test Environment Setup
• Location: North, Singapore
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Arrangement: Onsite
• Contract Duration: 12 months (Renewable/Convertible based on performance and business needs)

The Talent

• Degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments
• Hands‑on experience with desktop/server system setup or debugging preferred
• Familiar with Python scripting and/or signal and power measurement tools
• Experience using PCIe/NVMe analyzers or analog/mixed-signal oscilloscopes is an advantage
• Comfortable working in an ESD-protected lab environment
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail

The Job

• Execute SSD testing on server platforms to validate functionality
• Perform debugging and analysis of failures to drive issue resolution
• Set up test environments and servers for validation activities
• Record and tabulate test results, generating reports for continuous firmware monitoring
• Conduct first‑pass failure analysis and support ongoing validation find‑fix cycles
