Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting technical tests on lighting products, focusing on emergency lighting performance and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and compliance files required for product certifications, including SS 563 and other relevant standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve non‑compliance issues found during testing.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment while ensuring a safe and well‑organized testing environment.
• Keep up to date with lighting standards, regulations, and industry developments, particularly in emergency lighting compliance.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in product testing, compliance, and safety standards, especially in emergency lighting systems.
• Familiarity with testing equipment, data collection, and analysis will be an advantage.
