Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB Singapore is hiring a Software Quality Developer to join the Capital Markets IT team. You will champion quality, drive CI/CD testing, and work with developers to ensure robust software in a fast-paced financial environment.

Responsibilities include designing automated test frameworks, executing functional, integration, regression and performance testing, and migrating on-premise tests to AWS cloud. 0–3 years' experience preferred and strong scripting skills required.

Qualifications

• Experience with automation frameworks and libraries.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell script and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud platforms and services
• Object-oriented language: Java
• Load/Performance, API and Micro-services testing abilities, GUI Test Automation.
• Testing automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber).
• Relational DB and language: MySQL, SQL Server, Sybase.

• Research, design, and develop computer software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science.
• Liaise with business analysts and development team for clarification and understanding of requirements.
• Design and develop test code using a modern CI-CD pipeline.
• Design and develop comprehensive quality assurance strategies and frameworks.
• Design, Develop and Implement automated testing systems to ensure reusability and efficiency.
• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and design documentation.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Analyze and track down error root causes, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Promote and implement testing methodologies, aiming to identify and address defects early in the development lifecycle.
• Migration of existing in premise applications or test cases on AWS cloud.
• Provide technical support to other teams, assisting with problems encountered internally, such as system malfunctions. Propose solutions, suggest improvements, and contribute to data analysis.
• Document all testing activities, including test results, discovered defects, and any relevant observations. Prepare detailed reports for management and the Delivery Team.

Team & Position

We are seeking a talented Software Quality Developer to join our dynamic Capital Market Department!

As a Software Quality Developer, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. You will work within a specific Delivery Team, collaborating closely with developers and other team members to ensure that our software meets the highest standards. You will be a champion for quality, driving continuous improvement efforts and ensuring that our testing processes are always efficient and effective.

Capital Markets IT involves technology solutions and systems used in financial markets for trading, investment, and related activities. This includes electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, market risk, counterparty risk, algorithmic trading, data analytics, and Regulatory measures. The use of advanced technologies like API’s, artificial intelligence and cloud solutions are also becoming increasingly prevalent in capital markets to enhance efficiency and decision-making processes.

Main Responsibilities

Technical

• Experience with automation frameworks and libraries.

• Knowledge of systems dealing with Counterparty Risk, Market Risk, credit limits, monte carlo risk simulation methodology and its implementation, VaR, Stress, P&L reporting.
• Knowledge of compliance implementation for large investment banking setup
• Knowledge of financial assets (FX, Structured credit, Swaps, Equities etc) and overall understanding of trade lifecycle.
• Exposure to Capital Markets applications

Nice to Have

• Domain-Driven design and Microservices: springboot
• Strong understanding with GenAI tools and workflows.
