A software testing company in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a Manual Software Tester role. You will be responsible for developing test specifications, conducting functional testing, and ensuring quality in software deliverables. The ideal applicant has a degree in Computer Science or related fields, with 2-5 years of experience in manual testing and familiarity with JIRA.

Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

• Understand business and system requirements and develop various test specifications which include functional testing, system integration testing, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing
• Responsible for involving in test planning, test monitoring and control, test analysis, test design, test implementation, test execution, and test completion
• Coordinate and liaise with external interfacing parties to establish successful external interface test deliverables
• Perform all aspects of verification, including functional testing, regression testing, and defect verification and closure
• Understand System requirement and translate them into test requirement including pre and post testing documentation
• Assist the Project manager and Technical Manager to lead and conduct internal and external (customer fronting) acceptance test.
• Assist Project manager and Technical Manager in managing defects rectification and closure
• Track the status of issues/activities to ensure timely follow-up
• Work closely with software development team and fellow testing team members
• Ensure the quality and timeliness in the delivery of assigned tasks
• Support UAT activities at on-site when required
• Other testing duties as assigned

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Min 2 -5 years of experience in Manual software testing
• Experience in JIRA
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
