Job summary

Chevron Corporation in Singapore invites applications for a Plant Operator at the Jurong Terminal. You will join a shift and day ops team to ensure safe, efficient tank truck loading, marine vessel operations, and pipeline transfers.

The role emphasizes OE/HSE compliance with local regulations, supervising in-house crews and contractors, and maintaining terminal reliability. A NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in mechanical engineering and 2 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Background in oil & gas, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Tank Farm Operations and Jetty/Marine Operations ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee loading/receiving and inventory management of products.
• Supervise in-house terminal crews and contractors for safety and performance.
• Coordinate with vessel masters and stakeholders on receipts, berthing, and transfers.
• Respond to emergencies following terminal procedures and OE/HSE guidelines.
• Conduct testing of fire-fighting equipment and fire alarm systems.
• Support incident investigations and OE/HSE activities.
