Job summary

NTU's Division of Linguistics and Multilingual Studies invites applications for a tenured Associate Professor or Professor position. We seek established scholars in linguistics with an outstanding research record, especially in multilingualism, language diversity, and the languages of the Asia-Pacific region.

Southeast Asia researchers are encouraged to apply, though outstanding candidates from other regions will be considered.

Qualifications

• A PhD in Linguistics or a closely related field.
• A strong, internationally recognized research record, evidenced by publications and other scholarly outputs of field- or world-leading quality.
• A strong track record of grant acquisition, graduate supervision, and academic leadership.
• A demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and teaching excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide intellectual leadership within LMS and NTU.
• Develop collaborations within and beyond NTU.
• Contribute to LMS's research strategy and environment.
• Teach and supervise graduate students and postdocs.
