Job summary

Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine seeks an Associate/Assistant Professor of Microbiome to advance internationally leading research in microbiology and microbiome/bioinformatics, aligned with the School's research strategy. The appointee will teach medical students and postgraduate researchers, develop funding, and supervise staff within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum integration and the delivery of excellence in microbiology

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD and/or PhD in a relevant field.
• Significant postdoctoral or clinical experience.
• Strong translational clinical research and teaching record.

Responsibilities

• Undertake high quality research in microbiology related to microbiome or bioinformatics.
• Obtain research funding and supervise staff and students.
• Teach medical students and postgraduate researchers using team-based learning.
• Contribute to MBBS curriculum integration and delivery of excellence.
