Job Description
  • Lead and oversee the entire tendering process, from pre-qualification to final submission
  • Review tender documents, project specifications, and contract terms to ensure alignment with company capabilities and financial objectives
  • Prepare and compile technical and commercial proposals, ensuring all submission requirements are met
  • Work closely with the legal and finance teams to evaluate contract risks and financial implications
  • Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates, budgets, and bid pricing strategies
  • Analyse project costs, including material, labour, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead expenses
  • Identify potential cost‑saving opportunities and alternative construction methods to enhance competitiveness
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities throughout the tendering process
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance, and operations) to gather the necessary data for tender preparation
  • Negotiate and finalize pricing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency
  • Attend meetings, site visits, and contract negotiations to gain insights into project requirements
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks in tenders, including technical, contractual, and financial aspects
  • Ensure all tender proposals comply with legal, regulatory, and safety standards set by authorities in Singapore
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of tender submissions, correspondences, and approvals
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to enhance tender strategies
  • Assess new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s project portfolio
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on improving tender success rates
  • Other tasks assigned by the Management
Requirements
