Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a retail assistant in Singapore to provide friendly customer service, replenish shelves, and check stock levels in the food department.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 15 kg, and working rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Alcohol handling is part of the duties where required. The position is a 3-month contract with a 44-hour workweek, on-site at Great World City.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and above due to alcohol handling.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 15 kg.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible, hardworking in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job description

Pay: $12.50 per hour

Location: Great World City

Contract Duration: 3 months

Working Hours: 44 hours per week, 5 days per week

Job Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and assist customers with product enquiries.


• Replenish shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed.


• Check stock levels, product expiry dates and price labels.


• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organising merchandise.


• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness within the food department.


• Handle food and beverage products, including alcoholic beverages where required.


• Support daily store operations and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Working Schedule

• Rotating shifts based on operational requirements:


• Morning Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM


• Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM


• Full Shift: 12-hour shift

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and above due to the handling of alcoholic beverages.


• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.


• Physically fit and able to lift and carry items weighing up to 15kg.


• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required.


• Responsible, hardworking and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.


• Retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
