Job Description

1. Provide secretarial and administrative support to the head of department.

  • Manage and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Assist on travel booking, including flights, ground transport and accommodation.
  • Assist on their travel and expenses claims.
  • Coordinate events and speaking engagement.

2. Provide administrative support to the centre.

  • Assist centre manager in various administration, operation and finance functions to ensure smooth operation of the centre.
  • Support centre researchers and faculty associates with the administrative aspects of their research projects.
  • Assist and provide logistics support for centre events such as coordinating with speakers and participants for talks and workshops.
  • Organise department meetings and roundtable luncheon events.
  • Assist in ad‑hoc assignments as tasked.

3. Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Vice Dean (Research and Development).

  • Manage and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Assist on travel booking, including flights, ground transport and accommodation.
  • Assist on their travel and expenses claims.
  • Coordinate events and speaking engagements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1‑3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Diploma or Degree from a recognised institution/university.
  • Strong knowledge of secretarial duties.
  • Possess good administrative and organisational skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
