Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a temporary healthcare support operator to assist with patient observation and essential ward duties in an inpatient environment.

The role involves AM/PM shifts, minimum 3-4 days per week, and collaboration with nurses and care teams to ensure safety and quality patient care. Prior healthcare experience is advantageous and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare, hospital, caregiving or patient care is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with patients in an inpatient / hospital environment.
• Responsible, patient and able to follow established care and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient observation and monitoring according to established protocols.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients requiring enhanced monitoring.
• Alert the nursing / care team to changes in patient condition or behaviour.
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) where required.
• Support basic patient care and mobility needs.
• Assist with general ward activities and patient-related duties.
• Follow hospital policies, safety procedures and infection control requirements.
• Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
