Job Scope

• Receive and accession specimens from histopathology/ cytology lab
• Perform various technical functions including microtomy, basic histological staining of the tissue sections, and general molecular techniques (DNA extraction)
• Ensure proper safe storage and preparation of laboratory reagents
• Perform and record daily equipment maintenance procedures according to specifications
• Assist in ad-hoc lab duty as required
