Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Oracle/Ubuntu).
• Manage VMware vSphere ESXi and vCenter, provision VMs and clusters.
• Build and maintain infrastructure build standards and documentation.
• Automate routine admin tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible; support CI/CD pipelines.

We are seeking a highly skilled Build EngineerLinux Administrator with VMware expertise to support maintain and enhance enterprise infrastructure environments The ideal candidate will be responsible for Linux server administration VMware virtualization management platform build activities system performance tuning automation and production support The role requires strong troubleshooting skills infrastructure management experience and the ability to work in a fastpaced enterprise environment

Key Responsibilities

Linux Administration

Install configure maintain and troubleshoot Linux servers RHEL CentOS Oracle Linux Ubuntu

Perform OS patching upgrades vulnerability remediation and system hardening

Monitor server performance availability and capacity planning

Conduct root cause analysis and resolve infrastructurerelated incidents

Administer user accounts permissions file systems and security policies

Manage backup and recovery processes

VMware Administration

Manage and support VMware vSphere ESXi vCenter and related technologies

Provision configure and maintain virtual machines and clusters

Monitor VMware environment performance and optimize resource utilization

Execute VM migrations upgrades snapshots and disaster recovery activities

Support high availability HA Distributed Resource Scheduler DRS and storage integration

BuildInfrastructure Engineering

Perform server build configuration deployment and environment setup activities

Develop and maintain infrastructure build standards and documentation

Automate routine administration and deployment tasks using ing tools

Support infrastructure lifecycle management and capacity planning

Collaborate with application database network and security teams for deployments

Automation ing

Develop automation s using Bash Shell Python or Ansible

Support CICD and infrastructureascode initiatives where applicable

Improve operational efficiency through automation and standardization

Incident ChangeProblem Management

Participate in incident management and troubleshooting activities

Implement changes following ITIL processes
