A leading satellite communication company in Singapore is seeking an individual with expertise in Satellite Communication systems. You will support and maintain systems by troubleshooting integrated setups and perform technical writing of Acceptance Test Procedures. Proficiency in using test equipment like multimeters and spectrum analyzers is essential. The ideal candidate has knowledge of RF Engineering drawings and is ready to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of working with Satcom/VSAT System Operation.
• Able to understand Radio Frequency Engineering drawings or electrical circuits.
• Proficient in the use of test equipment.

Job description

Overview

Some knowledge of working with Satcom/VSAT System Operation; Satellite Modem operation; Routing, Configuration; System Test Setup; Acceptance Test Procedure.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and upkeeping our Satellite Communication systems running smoothly through troubleshooting of integrated systems consisting of electrical, mechanical and electronic subsystems in both indoor and outdoor environments for equipment
• Technical writing of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) of Radio Frequency and baseband equipment
• Proficient in the use of test equipment like multimeter, spectrum analyzer and power meter
• Proficient in operating simple tools
• Able to understand Radio Frequency Engineering drawings or electrical circuits
• Overseeing testing of equipment
• Able to work with UPS and other networking devices
