Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist with pre-sales technology discussions
  • Support FactSet clients as part of a 3rd tier escalated tech support team
  • Translate client needs to effective engineering action items
  • Educate clients and FactSet personnel on FactSet’s best‑practices
  • Correlate issues, then design enhancements to permanently remediate
  • Act as the product developer for implementations, diagnostics, and utilities
  • Assist with the creation of systems and processes to proactively identify and assist clients experiencing issues
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation
  • Occasional travel to client sites
Job Requirements
  • English communications skills – in-person, phone, and email
  • Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese communication skills – in-person, phone, and email
  • Interaction with clients on a technical and non‑technical basis

Helpful Experience
  • Knowledge of networking, application deployment, server management, database administrator, or computer science

  • Finance knowledge – markets, portfolios, asset management, financial instruments, real‑time market data, and portfolio analytics
