Job description

The Opportunity:

• Adecco is partnering with a public sector agency to search for a Technology Project Specialist (Cybersecurity), who upports the planning and execution of IT and cybersecurity projects, managing smaller initiatives independently while assisting with larger, cross-functional programs.
• Role will start off as a 12 months contract assignment.

The Job:

• Coordinate project plans, schedules, deliverables, and documentation to ensure smooth execution of IT initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between Technology Development, Cyber Operations, and external vendors to align priorities and maintain progress.
• Track project budgets, resource allocation, and expenditures across software, hardware, and cloud services.
• Support the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and issue tracking.
• Assist in implementing and testing cybersecurity platforms (SIEM/SOAR), maintaining test records and coordinating user acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of IT experience (internships accepted).
• Understanding of SDLC, project management, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Skilled in project tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com) and collaboration suites (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

Preferred

• CAPM/PMP certification or Agile (Scrum/Kanban) experience.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, version control (Git/SVN), programming, and SIEM/SOAR tools.
