Job Summary

Seeking a Technology Operations Specialist II with strong expertise in network operations, incident management, and infrastructure support. The role is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and restoring critical network services across enterprise environments while leading incident triage and coordinating recovery efforts with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support for enterprise network infrastructure across data center, WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, LTE, and connectivity services.
  • Monitor network performance and identify service impacts using logs, dashboards, packet captures, and monitoring tools.
  • Lead incident triage activities, coordinate bridge calls, and drive service restoration efforts.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and engage relevant teams for resolution.
  • Communicate incident status, risks, and business impact to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
  • Maintain incident records, technical documentation, network diagrams, and knowledge repositories.
  • Support disaster recovery exercises, business continuity initiatives, and operational governance.
  • Identify operational risks, vulnerabilities, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, vendors, and support teams to ensure network stability and performance.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience with Routing & Switching technologies including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, MPLS, Multicast, and IPv4/IPv6.
  • Hands‑on experience with SDN, network virtualization, and automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of wireless networking, VPN technologies, and secure connectivity solutions.
  • Expertise in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and incident management skills.
  • Ability to manage critical incidents in high‑pressure environments.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in network design, implementation, or large‑scale network operations.
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and APIs.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools.
  • Exposure to firewall, load balancing, DNS/IPAM, NAC, proxy, and optical networking technologies.
  • Experience supporting highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Relevant networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, Aruba, Palo Alto, or equivalent).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Network Operations, Network Engineering, or Infrastructure Support.
  • Proven experience managing major incidents and network service restoration.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies and operational processes.
