DIGITAL TREASURES CENTER PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technology Expert to strengthen the architecture of our payment platforms in Singapore.

You will review, redesign and standardize system structure to enhance maintainability and scalability across services. You will lead optimisation of performance, reliability and cost efficiency, and drive continuous improvement through refactoring, automation and new tooling, including AI-driven solutions.

Competenze

• 10+ years in software engineering, system architecture or platform engineering.
• Proven ability to optimise and restructure complex, high-volume systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, cloud infra (AWS) and databases.
• Experience defining architecture standards and leading technical improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• At least 5 years of managing a team.

dtcpay is looking for a Technology Expert to strengthen the foundation of our payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture & Structure

• Review the current system architecture and identify structural gaps, redundancies, and dependencies
• Design and recommend a clearer, more modular system structure to improve maintainability and scalability
• Define architecture standards, design principles, and documentation practices across engineering teams

Optimisation & Performance

• Analyse system performance, stability, and cost efficiency, and lead optimisation initiatives
• Identify bottlenecks across services, databases, and integrations, and propose practical solutions
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and incident prevention

Continuous Improvement

• Drive technical improvement roadmaps, including refactoring, technical debt reduction, and process automation
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies, including AI-driven solutions, to improve engineering efficiency
• Streamline development and release workflows in collaboration with DevOps

Governance & Collaboration

• Ensure system changes align with MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) guidelines, PCI DSS, and internal security standards
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and IT Governance to prioritise and execute improvements
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in system design and code quality

People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, setting clear goals and expectations aligned with technical and business priorities
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development discussions
• Identify skill gaps and drive training, knowledge sharing, and technical upskilling within the team
• Participate in hiring, including defining role requirements, interviewing, and onboarding new team members
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance engineering culture

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, system architecture, or platform engineering
• Proven track record of optimising and restructuring complex, high-volume systems
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS), and databases
• Experience defining architecture standards and leading technical improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
• At least 5 years of managing a team

Preferred

• Experience in payments, fintech, or other regulated environments
• Familiarity with MAS TRM guidelines and PCI DSS
• Exposure to blockchain, stablecoin, or digital asset systems
