Job summary

A leading elevator and escalator solutions provider is seeking a technician to support all technical matters related to elevator equipment. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. A motorbike for travel is required. This position is based in various locations within Mainland Singapore, offering a monthly salary up to $3010, along with allowances and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year relevant working experience in lift/building maintenance.
• Possession of Triple E certification is an added advantage.
• Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager or Senior Engineer in all technical matters related to elevator equipment.
• Conduct inspections on newly installed and serviced equipment.
• Respond swiftly to breakdowns affecting safety or performance.
• Plan and execute initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
• Investigate technical issues and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Participate in calibration committee activities.
• Contribute to the technical development of junior team members.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Conduct inspections on newly installed and serviced equipment to verify compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Respond swiftly to breakdowns affecting safety or performance, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational disruption.
• Plan and execute initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Investigate technical issues and prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommended corrective actions.
• Participate in calibration committee activities when assigned, ensuring accurate documentation and calibration of instruments.
• Contribute to the technical development of junior team members through training and mentorship.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors to support departmental objectives.
