Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a technical support specialist to ensure compliance with manufacturing plans and local laws. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in engineering and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a cGMP environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, continuous improvement in production processes, and collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years similar manufacturing / engineering work experience, with at least 1 year in a cGMP environment.
  • Knowledge in manufacturing assembly and equipment maintenance.
  • Experience in Automation with programming knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for manufacturing operations.
  • Involve in continuous improvement of processes and equipment.
  • Communicate with suppliers and government agencies.

Job description
Responsibilities

Responsible for providing technical support to production in carrying out manufacturing plan to meet Plant’s set objectives and ensure that all technical activities is in compliance with all local laws and practices, and in conformance with all relevant company’s policies and procedures.

Supports in all engineering issues related to respective processes. Is responsible for all maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations on the production floor.

Assists in machine and equipment improvements and upgrading programs.

Support production team in identifying and carrying out continuous improvement to assembly processes, equipment/machines efficiencies, production capacity and utilization, production yield, process quality control, workplace safety and health, 5S and other production related activities.

Participate in the Lean initiatives and attend relevant meetings as part of continuous improvement activities.

Communicate with affiliated plants, suppliers subcontractors and government agencies as and when required.

Qualifications
  • NTC / ITC / Diploma in Engineering / Manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 3 years similar manufacturing / engineering work experience of which minimum of 1 year is in cGMP manufacturing environment.
  • Process knowledge in manufacturing assembly and equipment maintenance.
  • Good team player and strong skill in troubleshooting equipment failure and technical issues.
  • Experience in Automation background with programming knowledge will be advantage.
