Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a maintenance technician to carry out regular inspection, servicing, and maintenance of equipment and plant ancillaries at the Gasworks. You will monitor spares, assist in troubleshooting with supervision, and ensure proper documentation of all maintenance work.

The role requires a Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering and preferably 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferably 3 years and above of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspection, annual overhaul, servicing and maintenance of equipment and plant ancillaries.
• Monitor essential spares and inform supervisor if replenishment is required.
• Troubleshoot of simple plant equipment faults with supervisor's guidance.
• Ensure and maintain proper filling and documentation of administrative, maintenance and service works.
• Ensure safety in all maintenance and service works carried out by contractors.
• Attend to matters relating to production, quality control, storage and distribution of Town Gas from the Gasworks.
• Perform standby duties after working hours.
