Job summary

A leading company in the sector in Singapore is seeking a Technician for Control & Instrumentation. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance of control and instrumentation equipment and troubleshooting faults. The ideal candidate will have a NITEC/ITE in relevant engineering fields. This role offers a 24-month renewable contract with provided transport to MRT stations.

Qualifications

• Experience in power, utilities, petrochemical, or process plants will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper supervision and execution of maintenance and overhaul of all control and instrumentation equipment.
• Supervise contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works.
• Report on the performance of contractors.
• Assist in the investigation of Plant defects and outages.
• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of faults.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper supervision and execution of maintenance and overhaul of all control and instrumentation equipment
• Supervise contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works, full compliance with contract specifications
• Report on the performance of contractors
• Assist the Technical Officer/ Senior Technical Officer/ Engineer in the investigation of Plant defects and outages
• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of faults and maintenance works, carry out inspections, and monitor the condition of the Plant

Requirements

• NITEC/ ITE in Electrical, Electronics, Control, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience in power, utilities, petrochemical, or process plants will be an advantage

Other details

• Working Hours: 8.15am - 5.30pm (Monday - Friday)
• Company transport provided at Choa Chu Kang (7.20am) and Jurong East (7.15am) MRT stations
