Job summary

A precision manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a skilled CMM Operator with at least 3 years of experience in Zeiss CMM programming. You'll be responsible for creating and updating inspection programs, ensuring quality compliance, and working closely with engineers on troubleshooting methods. Candidates should possess a GCE 'N' Level or equivalent and have a solid understanding of measurement equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Zeiss CMM operation and programming.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance is desirable.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

Create and follow standard Zeiss CMM program for inspect components and perform Zeiss CMM set up and operation for various programs.

Maintain and update existing Zeiss CMM programs in the server.

Complies with all company rules, policies and procedures.

Inspect the production and first-article parts according to the drawing.

Work with Engineers to troubleshoot inspection methods.

Interpret blueprints, work instructions and specifications.

Read and follow relevant work instruction and SOP.

Support new methods and concepts for improvement program.

Ensure compliance to all safety procedures and report to Section Leader for all unsafe conditions.

Requirements

GCE ’N’ Level or Technical Certificate and above.

Working knowledge of a Zeiss CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) with min 3 years experience.

Able to read and write English.

Able to operate Zeiss CMM machine and read CMM reports.

Experience in the operation and programming of Zeiss CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).

Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance desirable.

Using of measurement equipment, Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, Profile Projector, Smart Scope etc.
