A leading global healthcare company in Singapore is seeking a Technician I for the Quality Control Lab - Microbiology. The ideal candidate will handle microbiological tasks, analyze samples, and support product validation while adhering to regulatory standards. A diploma in Biomedical Sciences or related fields is required; 1 year of lab experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Excellent teamwork skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 1 year of experience in microbiology lab.
  • Candidates without experience can be considered as training will be provided.

Technician I, Quality Control Lab - Microbiology
Responsibilities
  • Handle complex microbiological tasks, supporting operations and contributing to efficiency within defined procedures
  • Analyze various microbiological samples, ensuring accuracy and precision of analyses
  • Recommend corrective actions and develop methods to support product and process validation, product release, and compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Make minor decisions within the scope of tasks, requiring enhanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborate with affiliated departments to integrate lab results into the manufacturing process, driving problem-solving and innovation through scientific principles
  • Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
  • Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization by committing to continuous improvement and regulatory adherence
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Biomedical sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology or related scientific field
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in microbiology lab would be advantageous
