Job description
  • Performs surface preparation of landing gears and components prior to painting by degreasing and masking as necessary.
  • Spray primer and various paint finishes to parts or assemblies.
  • Rough and finish aircraft parts using various types of sandpaper and hand sanding machines to provide surface for paint adhesion and smooth appearance.
  • Mixes hardener and filler. Applies hardener and filler to unfinished areas that need smoothing and contouring.
  • Use painting equipment including brushes and spray guns to perform minor rework or touchup as necessary.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety and compliance procedures.
  • Perform regular checks on equipment and maintain them in good condition.
  • Active participation in 5S program and continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in problem solving.
  • Participate actively in contributing to HSE development and improvement.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum NITEC in Mechanical or related disciplines.
