RTX is seeking technicians for onsite cleaning of aircraft components as part of our aerospace maintenance and overhaul operations in Singapore. Roles involve performing mechanical and chemical cleaning per schedule, adhering to quality procedures, and contributing to EH&S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have a NITEC or higher in a related field, knowledge of aviation cleaning processes, and be willing to work rotating shifts to support production demands.

Responsibilities

• Set up and standardize cleaning equipment and document results.
• Carry out duties as assigned by Workshop engineer/cell leaders.

What You Will Do

• Perform various Mechanical & Chemical cleaning processes as per production schedule.
• Perform daily work tasks per Quality work procedures and guidelines.
• Support and participate in EH&S, Quality, Ethics and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives.
• Familiar with the engine manuals, standards, and other contractual documents that control the Cleaning method used by MRO.
• Possess basic knowledge of relevant product materials and inspection criteria.
• Set up and standardize Cleaning equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by Workshop engineer/Cell leaders.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any other related discipline.
• Knowledge in Mechanical & Chemical cleaning processes required for aviation MRO.
• Possess high level of integrity and accountability with a strong drive towards Quality.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
• Aerospace experience in dealing with aircraft structures, engines and/or components
