Job summary

Element Testing Services (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Technician to perform calibration and testing duties in an on-site lab, ensuring timely and accurate results with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include calibrating gauges and instruments using CMM, maintaining equipment, delivering quality service to customers, and supporting ISO17025-compliant processes under supervision.

Qualifications

• ITE/GCE/ Diploma in Aerospace/ Precision / Mechanical / Civil Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years working knowledge in QC/QA or Calibration / Testing field.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawing and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform Calibration and Measurement of Dimension gauges and instruments as per WI using CMM, reference master, tester, etc.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment as scheduled and assigned.
• Ensure proper delivery of service to customer(s).
• Assist in day-to-day calibration work in the labs with reference to ISO17025 standards (Quality/ Job Planning/ Job Assignment/ Customer Requirements).
• Other duties as assigned by Manager/ Section Head/ Senior staff.

Element has an opportunity for Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

• Perform Calibration and Measurement of Dimension gauges and instruments as per WI using CMM, reference master, tester etc (on-site and in-house) with report and necessary administrative work
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment as schedule and assigned
• Ensure proper delivery of service to customer(s)
• Help manager to manage day-to-day calibration work in the labs reference to ISO17025 standard, eg. Quality/ Job Planning/ Job Assignment/ Customer Requirements etc
• Any other duties as assigned by Manager/ Section Head/ Senior staff

Requirement:

• ITE/GCE/ Diploma in Aerospace/ Precision / Mechanical / Civil Engineering etc
• 2 to 3 years working knowledge in QC/QA or Calibration / Testing field.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawing and GD&T.
• Ability to analyze and compile Calibration / testing data from the Calibration/ tests performed
