Technician (Audio), Show Experience Technical Support

The Technical plays a key role in supporting technical operations for shows and events. This role assists in equipment set-up and handling, operating technical equipment during rehearsals and shows, and maintenance and repair work while adhering to safety policies to deliver memorable entertainment experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the set‑up, tear‑down, transport and storage of technical equipment.
• Operate technical equipment and systems during small‑to‑large scale technical rehearsals, events and shows.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of all technical equipment and systems.
• Provide team members with accurate information to facilitate informed service decisions.
• Attend safety training courses and consistently adhere to workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines.
• Equipment and systems include: staging, lighting, sound, audio‑visual, rigging, show control and automation.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / WSQ Equivalent in Technical Theatre, Theatrical Management, or a related field supplemented by courses in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• With Diploma / WSQ Equivalent: 1 – 2 years of related industry experience.
• Without Diploma / WSQ Equivalent: 3 – 4 years of related industry experience.
